Industry Analyst - Truck/Trailer

POSITION RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY:

This position assists in producing highly targeted, technical and time sensitive commercial lines products. It is responsible for producing original content leading to production of both online and print products as well as assisting in providing content to Penton transportation properties. Responsibilities include gathering product information from manufacturers, analyzing collected data and adding information into PC-based system. Truck and trailer databases contain thousands of records of specific model information that is regularly updated with current information. Products include but may not be limited to: The Truck Blue book, The Older Truck Blue Book, The Commercial Trailer Blue Book, The Truck Identification Book and system, The Truck Body Blue Book.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• 2 years experience managing information database
• Proven ability to comprehend industry specific nomenclature, specifications and terms
• Associates Degree or equivalent work experience acceptable
• Will train the right candidate
• Must have good written and verbal skills, pleasant and articulate phone manner.
• Must be familiar with truck component and trailer component nomenclature.
• Must have level 2 or higher knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Must perform accurate data entry and have strong proofing skills.
• Occasional travel is required to attend trade shows, conferences and prospect/client presentations.
