Conferences and Events Assistant for Restaurant Hospitality

Position Description:
Assist with all aspects of conference and event planning including site selection, negotiations and contracts, audio and visual equipment and staging, attendee fulfillment, development of conference proceedings, database management, sponsor fulfillment, speaker fulfillment, vendor contracts, along with accounting liasion regarding attendee and sponsorship revenues and related invoices; marketing and advertising point person as well as on-site assistance.

Position Requirements:
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business Administration or have equivalent work experience planning conference and events along with a working knowledge of Design software or another compatible Design software program; be able to demonstrate superb mutli-tasking skills and techniques; knowlege and ability to conceptualize the event through on-site execution; demonstsrated patience and follow through to work with multiple publishers and editors to develop their magazine's in-person conference and events.

Travel Requirements:
To confrence locations as needed approx. 5 times a year over night travel.
